Amid countless upheavals, letters and sealed mail were revived—from civilian use to military operations—to compensate for the shattered communication networks. As the war dragged on, with expanded conscription and widespread contamination from BC weapons used in cycles of mutual retaliation across regions, robot army men that had already been deployed to battlefields were repurposed to maintain the postal system.
